Globally competitive not only at work, in business, or in sports, but also in extreme activities such as this climb to conquer Everest. I am just sad that the Pinay climbers were not given much recognition just like the men had when they achieved the same feat. Moreso, media gave much emphasis on the conduct of the elections which everyone has long accepted to be out of this world, instead of this milestone that could have brought the Filipino spirit back to an all-time high.J.
